CLASSROOM CONDUCT AND COURTESY

Do not skip and do not be late in the class.
- Students are required to attend all classes and any student missing over the allotted days for class meeting will result in an FA for the class.
- Absences allowed for this course: MWF – 6; TH – 4.
If you are late or must leave the class, please walk in slowly and sit in the back of the class to minimize the disruption.
Three tardies will be counted as one unexcused absence. If you leave the class for any reason, don’t come back. Do not compound the interruption to the class caused by your leaving by interrupting again to come back. You should take care of all personal needs prior to the class.
Head covers: Head covers of all types, hats, caps, dew rags, etc., are to be removed prior to class.
Cell phones: Do NOT have cell phones turned on during class. This includes turning off the vibrate mode. The wisest thing to do is to leave your cell phone elsewhere during class.
Talking: Part of your education is asking questions and taking part in classroom debates. However, all conversation is to be directed to the instructor and specifically allowed by him. Do not start your own side conversations with other students as they are disruptive to the class.
Do not bring any food/drinks to the class; it disturbs others.
